I have been a slide photographer for almost 50 years.
With the advanced computer printing of color photographs I drifted more toward
making prints and away from slide photography. Finally, in late 2002 I purchased
a digital camera and it is now my preferred camera.
My favorite subject is
travel photography, followed by flower photography. However, with the Delaware
Photographic Society's assigned subjects I find myself interested in almost
anything.
"Solarized House"
This house on Martha’s Vineyard was
photographed as a color slide on a Delaware Photographic Society field
trip. Then it was scanned into the
computer and solarized with Photoshop Elements.
"Spiral
Wave"
The “Spiral Wave” is a composite of a surfer and an ocean wave that was distorted with the twirl filter in Photoshop Elements.
"Flying
United"
Hot air balloons are always colorful subjects for photographers. This photograph was taken as a color slide at a hot air balloon festival in Hershey, PA.
"Lighthouse"
Getting up early sometimes has its rewards, as it did on Martha’s Vineyard one morning on a Delaware Photographic
Society field trip.
