Lynn learned to process and print when she joined the club in 1973, and has remained an active member ever since, earning Salon Class gold medals in slides, monochrome and color printing, and serving in many capacities.  A PSA (Photographic Society of America) multi-star exhibitor in Nature, Photo Travel, Photojournalism, Color Slides, Pictorial Prints, and Stereo (3-D), she is the first person in the US, as well as the first woman worldwide, to achieve the PSA Photojournalism Master level rating (MPJ).
She has presented programs and judged international photographic exhibitions throughout the US, in Canada and in Europe.  After chairing PSA's Photojournalism Division from 1990 to 1994, she served as a VP on the PSA Board of Directors from 1996 to 2005.  Honored as a fellow of PSA and of Delaware Photographic Society, she won the Ollie Fife Award for Best Published Photo of 1993, the "International Understanding Through Photography" Award in 1996, and was named PSA's 2002 Photojournalist of the Year and Delaware Press Association's 2005 Communicator of Achievement.  She enjoys making and showing 3-D images of her travel and family activities

"Bluebirds"

After setting up a camera and two flashes near this nest hole in a local apple orchard, she attached a long remote and used the car as a blind.

"Sweethearts"

It could have been another routine assignment, but when this 101 year old pulled his lady friend close while friends at the care center sang Happy Birthday, she quickly captured their moment of joy to win a national press association award.

"NICU"

When a grandchild experienced difficulty at birth, she was given a rare opportunity to photograph in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after donning the required gown and mask.

"Brother Isadore"

This local Franciscan from the nearby priory agreed to pose for a portrait.

"Big Flag"

First appearing as a Fourth of July feature in local papers, this shot of a Centreville barn became a state tourism poster.

Creative Silhouette

This is a straight photograph of a model lit by three colored spotlights behind a translucent screen.
