Lums Pond

Bring your camera and your lunch and join
us for this year's annual picnic at beautiful Lums Pond State Park. Known
as Delaware's most diversified park, anglers, hikers, swimmers, boaters,
campers, and picnickers find plenty of fun on the state's largest fresh
water pond. Wooden picnic tables and grills are available, but you might
want to bring some lawn chairs.
We will meet at 10 AM and eat about 12 noon.
Directions:
Lums Pond is located on Routes 896 and 71 at Kirkwood, DE. From I-95 take the 896 South exit, proceed across Old Baltimore Pike and Route 40. Continue on for 2.5 miles, take the feeder road, right to entrance booth of the park, then an immediate right into AREA 4.
