DCC Plans Photo Course

DCC Plans Photo Courses

Since the purpose of our club is to improve our photographic capabilities, we will be offering a Comprehensive Photo Course for the upcoming 1999-2000 Camera Club year. The course will take place September through May on the first Monday of each month, from 7-9 p.m. Due to Labor Day weekend, the September date is scheduled for Tuesday, September 7th. The classes will be conducted at the Concord Pike Library, 3406 Concord Pike, Wilmington. This course will be free to all DCC members. A member may sponsor a non-member for a $10 charge. This fee will be applied to the membership fee if he or she desires to join the DCC.

Ray Firmani will be the coordinator and teacher, bringing to the table over fifty years of practical experience, which is matched only by his exuberant enthusiasm for the subject. He will be aided by our senior members as guest instructors in their various areas of expertise.

In preparation for this course, it is suggested that we read our camera manuals to refresh ourselves on the operation of our individual cameras. Bring your camera, manual, and tripods to our first meeting to participate in these “hands on” instructions. Participating members may sign up for the course at the first meeting on Tuesday, September 7th. This course is designed for new members, and current members as well, to improve their photographic skills.
