"Youth in Focus"
On Display at the Wilmington Free Library
Until August 31

34 prints created by students who participated in the Delaware Photographic Society’s (DPS) “Youth in Focus” program are now on display at The Wilmington Public Library, 10th & Market Streets, until the end of August. These photographs represent the work of 18 local, motivated students, aged 11 to 16, who were selected for the program by DPS in partnership with the Latin American Community Center, Urban Promise, and Union Baptist Church. The “Youth in Focus” program consisted of four afternoons of classes and field trips to Wilmington locations where the students were taught the basics of photography and were encouraged to explore their own visions. The exhibition can be viewed during normal library hours. The library is closed on Sundays.

This program is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
