Meet Our Judges  Photojournalism Judges - Gary Haynes, Susan Gregg, Eileen Blass  Print Judges - Sharp Todd, Gisela Kahn, Bob Ginn  Projected Image Judges - Gerald Emmerich, Rick Holt, Jean Timmermeister Photojournalism Judges GARY HAYNES, from Oregon, Illinois, was an award-winning photographer and picture editor for UPI and four major newspapers covering international events, is a successful author and lecturer. SUSAN L. GREGG, from Wilmington, Delaware, is a photojournalist and college professor who photographed for the Wilmington News Journal for 20 years and is also certified to teach art. EILEEN BLASS, from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, has been a staff photographer for USA Today for 20 years, covering a wide variety of assignments, including most of the major sporting events. Print Judges SHARP TODD, APSA, PPSA, from Boise Idaho, is active in regional print and slide competition, and an active print exhibitor in international photographic exhibits, winning honors at all levels. GISELA KAHN, from Cuxhaven, Germany, is a fine art photographer who uses her camera predominately to portray people when traveling to such places as Egypt's "White Desert". BOB GINN, from Tate, Georgia, is a stock photographer and international judge who worked for 24 years at seven newspapers, in 130 countries, and headed the PSA Who's Who lists many times. Projected Image judges GERALD EMMERICH, FPSA, EPSA, from East Troy, Wisconsin, is listed in PSA's Who's Who in Photography as a top exhibitor in North America in four divisions. RICK HOLT, from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, helped found the Art Wolfe Digital Photography Center and continues to teach on a regular basis and to photograph around the globe. JEAN TIMMERMEISTER, FPSA, ACAPA, from Spokane Valley, Washington, has judged international exhibitions including one in Shanghai and has studied fine art. |
