Larry Hinson Medal for Monochrome Photography Competition 

The Larry Hinson Medal for Monochrome Photography is an annual award for the best monochrome print and projected image of the year. Entries for this competition come from the monthly print competitions and the quarterly projected image competitions.

The rules for Print and Projected Image state: The Larry Hinson Award will be given to the maker of a monochrome print and maker of a monochrome projected image chosen from the top five Print-of-the-Year and Projected Image-of-the-Year scoring monochrome prints and monochrome projected images. Monochrome is defined as white and one color (sepia, blue, warm tone, black, etc.). So make sure you enter some monochrome entries during the DPS competition year to be eligible to win the Larry Hinson Medal.
